Actress Shalini Kapoor Joins Vishal Karwal’s Tirupati Balaji Kathasar
Shalini has garnered fans’ appreciation for her performance in popular shows like Sirf Tum, Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, Swaragini- Jodein Rishton Ke Sur, and Qubool Hai.

Mythological shows and movies have been captivating the audience since a long time now. From Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan to Devon Ke Dev, Mahadev these mythological shows hold a special place in fans’ hearts. Several actors like Arun Govil, Mohit Raina and Gurmeet Chaudhary among others impressed audiences with their performances as the Hindu deities in different shows. And now TV actress Shalini Kapoor Sagar is all set to mark her return to the mytholoigical genre as she has been roped in for a pivotal role in the upcoming series Tirupati Balai Kathasar which stars actor Vishal Karwal in the lead roles.

Talking about working in the famous genre, she said, “I’m a spiritual person in real life and I always enjoyed working in mythological shows. It brings new learnings and beautiful facts about our culture and tradition. I enjoy exploring them,” as quoted by ETimes.

She added, “This genre is not new to me as I earlier played the role of goddess Durga back in 2008 in the popular show Jai Maa Durga. Even before I’ve acted in Om Namah Shivay, Vishnu Puran, Jai Mahabharat, and Ramayan. The last mythological series I worked in was Devon Ke Dev Mahadev in 2012 in which I played Maharani Prasuti. I’m so happy to return back to the genre after 12 years.”

Shalini has also garnered fans’ appreciation for her performance in popular shows like Sirf Tum, Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, Swaragini- Jodein Rishton Ke Sur, and Qubool Hai. In Tirupati Balaji Kathasar, she will be seen playing the role of Bakula Devi, Balaji’s mother.

Talking about her role in the upcoming show, she stated, “I feel blessed to received this opportunity to play the role of Bakula Devi. I am currently reading and exploring more about my role so that it helps to understand my role better, rest my director will help me for sure. I offered prayers to Maa Bakula Devi to give me guidance to do justice to this role. I am happy as this is going to be the first time I will play a south Indian on scree,” as cited by ETimes.

Apart from TV shows, she has also been a part of films like Shehzada, Dhadak and Baaghi.
