While most of the speculations pointed out towards Samsung Galaxy S9 to be the first smartphone to carry Qualcomm’s latest chipset, the Snapdragon 845, a recent report indicates that Xiaomi might beat the South Korean giant to the race. If the report is to be believed, Xiaomi will be bringing the successor to its flagship, Mi Mix 2, as the Mi Mix 2S even before the MWC 2018, where Samsung was supposed to launch the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. If it does, the Xiaomi smartphone will be the first one to sport the latest processor.
As per the rumours, the Mi Mix 2S will not carry any major upgrades over the original Mi Mix 2. Some leaked images of the smartphone, however, show that Xiaomi has gone for a 100 percent bezel-less display, with the front camera being shifted to a notch at the top-right, as opposed to the bottom bezel on the Mi Mix 2. The back is pretty much the same though, with a camera module and a fingerprint sensor.
However, none of these reports have been confirmed by Xiaomi as of now.
