Xiaomi Mi AirPOP PM2.5 Anti-Pollution Mask Launched in India For Rs 249: Everything You Need to Know

Xiaomi has launched an affordable anti-pollution mask to protect Indians and it comes with a price tag of Rs 249 for a pack of two. It will be available exclusively through the company’s official online store Mi.com as the company hasn't announced any partnership with any third party retail website to sell the Mi AirPOP PM2.5 anti-pollution mask. The company confirmed this news on its official Twitter account. The tweet reads, “Beat the pollution with Mi AirPOP PM2.5 Anti-Pollution Mask! Goes on sale for the first time in India at 12 noon only on http://mi.com. Get yours today.”

The mask can effectively block 0.3-micron particles and Xiaomi claims that it has PM2.5 filtration efficiency as high as 99.97 percent. It has a leather texture cover with a silicone material inside. It has a 360-degree adaptable ring design. Xiaomi has said that the two packs of the mask are required for one month, assuming that it is used for 2 hours a day. A single mask has 15 hours of life and going by this, the average cost per day of the mask is around Rs 17.
It has four layers of filtration and soft and skin friendly fabric for a snug and comfortable fit. As of now, it is available only in black color. It weighs just 32.2 grams and lasts for three years if the packaging is left unopened.
