Ira Khan And Nupur Shikhare Stick To The Classic Combination Of Red And Black For Their Reception, Watch Video

Amir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan got married to her long-time beau Nupur Shikhare earlier in January and after doing a small formal ceremony in Mumbai and a traditional ceremony in Udaipur, it is time for their grand reception party in Mumbai. For this elaborate occasion that is being held at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, the couple of the evening chose to stick to classics.

Ira opted for a heavily embellished red lehenga set, that came with a beautiful hand-embroidered skirt, and bralette and to add to the drama a lovely dupatta of the same shade. The intricate hand embroidery with golden thread made the ensemble look absolutely heavenly and regal. The newly-wed bride definitely seemed comfortable in her ensemble for the evening.

On the other hand, Nupur looked dapper in a shimmery black bandhgala set. His outfit was subtle and striking all at once and he definitely aced the look. His cute red pocket square matched the colour of Ira’s outfit and the internet is absolutely loving this twinning moment between the two. Nupur’s traditional footwear complimented his ensemble.

In terms of makeup, Ira kept it extremely minimal with a dewy base and kohled eyes. The bold red lips went in perfect sync with not just the look but with her nude eyeshadow shade as well. She further accessorised her look with golden bangles and adding to the cool factor of the look was a bold black watch that she sported with her traditional look with the utmost grace and finesse. Fans are also guessing that she paired the outfit with a pair of black chunky boots but that is yet to be revealed.

By now, the internet is well aware of the fact that Ira prioritises simplicity above everything else and her hairstyle for the evening reflected the same. Instead of going for something out of the box, she went ahead with a simple hairdo. The beach curls looked fabulous on her and the hair colour was the perfect fit with her mesmerising lehenga.
