Vivo V-series upgrades have rolled out in the Indian market this week. The V40 and V40 Pro builds on the exciting Zeiss Optics camera debut and look to offer more premium features in a less premium segment. Vivo is using both Snapdragon and Dimensity chipsets to power these devices and claims to have the biggest battery in its portfolio. You get them with an AMOLED display and a fast-charging battery out of the box.
Vivo V40 And V40 Pro Price In India
Vivo V40 has launched in India at Rs 34,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB variant, going up to Rs 36,999 for the higher 8GB +256GB model and Rs 41,999 if you want the 12GB + 512GB version. The Vivo V40 Pro launch price starts at Rs 49,999 that gets you the 8GB + 256GB model, or you pay Rs 55,999 for the 12GB + 512GB variant. Vivo V40 series will go on sale from August 13 in the country.
Vivo V40 And V40 Pro Features
Vivo 40 and V40 Pro sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate screen. The V40 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset with up to 12GB RAM, while the V40 comes equipped with the flagship-grade MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ paired with 12GB RAM. You have the Funtouch OS version based on Android 14 running out of the box.
The imaging setup on the V40 gives you a 50MP Zeiss Optics lens for the first time and it comes with OIS support. You also have a 50MP wide-angle lens on offer, and a 50MP front shooter. Coming to the V40 Pro, Vivo is offering a triple 50MP camera system which includes a telephoto portrait sensor.
Both the models pack a 5500mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging speed. The phones come with a thickness of 7.58mm which is quite good for the battery size in tow.
In addition to the V40 series phones, Vivo has also added the new Vivo 3e TWS earbuds to its lineup in the market and the budget device is priced at Rs 1,899 where you have brands like Redmi, OnePlus and Realme.
