Oppo has announced a new 'special edition' for its flagship smartphone, the Oppo R15. The limited edition variant of the smartphone has been named 'Nebula Special Edition' and has been created in collaboration with popular Egyptian designer Karim Rashid. The Oppo R15 Nebula special edition comes in a Blue-Pink-Red colour pattern that also glows in the dark, as per reports. Karim's signature can also be seen on the bottom of the back panel of the smartphone.
The first look at the Nebula special edition of the Oppo R15 was provided by the company earlier this week. Apart from the special design of the smartphone, the device comes with similar specifications as those found on the Oppo R15 regular edition.
OPPO R15 Nebula Special Edition sports a 6.28-inch display with a 2280x1080 pixels resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and an iPhone-X like notch at the top of its display. The device is powered by a MediaTek MT6771 Helio P60 SoC and carries a 6GB RAM coupled to a 128GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 256GB.

In terms of optics, the Oppo R15 comes with a dual camera setup at the back that comprises of a 16-megapixel lens coupled with a 5-megapixel. At the front, the Oppo R15 sports a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.
Oppo R15 comes with dual nano-SIM support and runs ColorOS 5.0 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo. It is backed by a 3450 mAh battery that also supports VOOC fast charging.
The Oppo R15 Nebula Special Edition has been priced at $470 and at an extra $30, buyers can also avail custom-designed JBL earphones along with the smartphone.
