The Moto G5 Blue Sapphire variant is likely to join its Lunar Grey and Fine Gold siblings soon. Press renders of Blue Sapphire variant of Moto G5 have been leaked by famous leakster Roland Quandt on his Twitter account.

However, there is no official word from the Lenovo-owned company on the announcement of this variant.

According to the press leaks, the Moto G5 Blue Sapphire variant appears to be blue on the sides and rear, but the front side of the device remains black. This is something unlike what we have seen on Really Blue Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones from Google.

To recall, the Moto G5 Plus smartphone was launched in India and its sibling Moto G5 is also expected to launch in the coming days.

Lenovo-owned Moto G5 Plus was launched in India at Rs 14,999 on March 15. It is pertinent to note that this is the first smartphone in the Moto G series to feature a metal body. Moto G5 Plus 3GB RAM + 16GB internal storage variant will retail at Rs 14,999 while the 4GB RAM + 32GB internal storage variant will be available for Rs 16,999 on e-commerce site Flipkart.

The Moto G5 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with aperture f/2.0, 1.1-micron pixels and PDAF, while for the front, there is a 5-megapixel snapper. The G5 comes with a 2,800mAh removable battery coupled ith 10W rapid charger and supports connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and micro USB port. The device measures 144.3 x 73 x 9.5 mm and weighs 144.5 gram.
