Microsoft receives over 1 million feedback messages on yet-to-be-released Windows 10 from beta users
Under the Windows Insider program, beta users have submitted their feedback on Windows 10 OS which will help shape the upcoming software.

New Delhi: Microsoft announced that it has received over one million individual feedback on its upcoming Windows 10 OS, which will be used to further enhance the overall experience of the software.

Under the Windows Insider program, users running preview builds of the Windows 10 have submitted the feedback in a bid to contribute their views to Microsoft. The program has been designed to get people interested in the OS and to encourage users of the preview builds to provide suggestions.

The Windows Insider program was launched back in September with the first public release of Windows 10. It is designed to get people interested in Windows 10 and to encourage users of the preview builds to contribute their views to Microsoft, a report in the Digital Journal stated.

Microsoft's engineering manager responsible for the Windows Insider program, Gabriel Aul, revealed the news on Twitter yesterday, saying:

"Wow! We just received our one millionth piece of feedback from the Feedback app! Woohoo! #WindowsInsiders"

With incorporating user feedback in its OS development, Microsoft's Windows 10 could become the biggest software beta program ever with users helping in shaping what the final release will be like.

The OS is expected to be released later this year and it will be available as a free upgrade from Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1 and feature the return of the start menu for desktop users and the introduction of Microsoft's digital assistant, Cortana, to Windows 10 on tablets and PCs.
