Lenovo has announced the launch of the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon laptop in India that features the 11th-generation Intel Core processor. The company says that the Intel Evo platform-based laptop is built for always-on-the-go business leaders, entrepreneurs, and millennials, to meet their lifestyle needs. The laptop weighs barely 966 grams, and as the name suggests, it comes with carbon fibre that provides a light-weight built and increased durability. It comes in a Moon White colour finish, and Lenovo adds that the Yoga Slim 7i Carbon meets MIL-STD-810G grade standards. The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon was first unveiled in October 2020, and its 13-inch display supports Flip-to-boot technology that allows the system to boot up just by lifting the lid.
In terms of specifications, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon sports a 13-inch QHD (1,600×2,560 pixels) display with 16:10 aspect ratio and support for Dolby Vision. The screen panel offers 300 nits of brightness and has 227ppi. Under the hood, it packs up to 11th-gen Intel Core i7 CPU paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM, up to 1TB M.2 PCIe SSD storage, and Intel Iris Xe GPU. In terms of connectivity, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon includes two USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support, a USB Type-C port, two stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5. Additionally, the stereo speakers support Dolby Atmos to provide rich sound quality. The Yoga Slim 7i Carbon packs a 50 Whr battery that is touted to deliver up to 15 hours of video playback or 13 hours of “all-day office” productivity.
It also supports Amazon Alexa virtual assistant (depending upon location) and carries a full-sized backlit keyboard. The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon laptop’s price in India starts at Rs 1,19,990 and will go on sale via Lenovo India online and offline stores from 25 March onwards.
