Upset Mamata Banerjee clips TMC MP Mukul Roy's wings, appoints new party office bearers

Kolkata: Upset with party MP Mukul Roy skipping the meeting, Trinamool Congress chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday clipped his wings and announced new office bearers.

TMC MP Subrata Bakshi has been appointed All-India additional General Secretary, MP Dinesh Trivedi is All India Vice President and three All-India Secretaries are Derek O'Brien, Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar and Firhad Hakim.

MP Derek O'Brien is the new in-charge of North East and Kerala while MP Subhendu Adhikari is in-charge of Assam and Minister Subrata Mukherjee will look after Tripura.

Mukul Roy was recently grilled by CBI in connection with multi-crore Saradha Chit fund scam.
