New Delhi: While proposing Narendra Modi's name as the leader of BJP Parliamentary Party on Tuesday, BJP President Rajnath Singh exuded confidence that he will fulfil all his promises. 'Yes he will', said Rajnath amidst applause by BJP MPs and leaders in Parliament's Central Hall.
He said that Modi will be an efficient Prime Minister while referring to Modi's slogan during the election campaign. Modi had chanted "Yes, we can! Yes, we will do!" while flagging off the BJP's election campaign in Hyderabad on August 11, 2013.
He said that Modi's governance has a proven track record. He also credited Modi for the massive electoral success
He said that the BJP has grown to a bigger party than the Congress in this election. "Today Indian politics has become BJP vs others," Rajnath said.
Remembering Jan Sangh founder Shyama Prasad Mookerjee and Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Rajnath said that their dream has come true.
