Chennai: Preparations for the crucial meeting of DMK's decision-making bodies, the executive and general council are on, party Chief M Karunanidhi said on Monday.
"Preparations are on (as) there are only a few days left," he said.
The crucial two-day brainstorming session of DMK at Coimbatore on July 23-24 is likely to discuss key issues including the ties with seven year-old ally Congress, in the wake of the arrest of Karunanidhi's daughter Kanimozhi.
The 88 year-old DMK patriarch had blamed the Centre for Kanimozhi's arrest, who is now jailed for her alleged role in the 2G spectrum allocation scam.
