BJP leader BS Yeddyurappa and 5 others have been accused of irregularities in denotifying government land.
New Delhi: A special Lokayukta court will hear the bail application of former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa on Saturday.
The hearing is in connection with two private complaints relating to alleged corruption in the denotification of the government land. If his bail is rejected, Yeddyurappa and his family will be arrested.
In the complaint filed by city-based advocate Sirajin Basha, Yeddyurappa and five others including his sons and son-in-law were accused of irregularities in denotifying government land in Rachenahalli in Bangalore South taluk which caused an estimated loss of about Rs 40 crore to the state exchequer.
