New Delhi: After an arduous month-long election and a protracted process of Cabinet formation, the 15th Lok Sabha will finally be set in motion on Monday.
The highlights of this session over the next few days will include the election of the Speaker of the House and the President's address.
But first, some key newly elected members will take oath. They include Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee as Leader of Lok Sabha, L K Advani as Leader of Opposition, UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi will also take oath along with the Panel of chairpersons of different parliamentary committees
Other MPs will also take oath in state-wise alphabetical order.
However, the spotlight will be on Rahul Gandhi's young brigade including women MPs like Shruti Choudhary, Meenaxi Natarajan and Mausam Noor.
Other first-timers include RPN Singh, a close confidante of Rahul, Jitendra Singh, Harish Chaudhary, Ratan Singh and Bharat Ram Meghwal all from Rajasthan.
But it's not just Congress that's sending fresh faces to Parliament.
BJP's Arjun Ram Meghwal and Devji Patel are also starting their political innings on Monday.
Ajit Singh's son Jayant Chaudhary from the Rashtriya Lok Dal will also be taking his first steps into the corridors of power.
