FIR against Dutt for offering to hug UP CM Mayawati

New Delhi: It looks like the Mayawati government is gunning for actor turned general secretary of the Samajwadi Party Sanjay Dutt.

An FIR has been registered against Dutt at Barabanki for violating the model code yet again.

This is the third case against him in Uttar Pradesh in less than a month.

Earlier on April 14, 2009 a case was registered for making communal remarks during an election rally in Mau district.

Dutt had said he was beaten by police because his mother was a Muslim. Four days later, Dutt was slapped with obscenity charges for saying he'd like to give the Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati a hug.
