51. Chhatarpur is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Tikamgarh (SC) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Chhatarpur falls in Chhatarpur district and Vindhya Pradesh region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.

There are a total of 2,04,325 voters in the seat, which includes 1,09,439 male voters, and 94,881 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Chhatarpur recorded a voter turnout of 71.07%. In 2013 the turnout was 48.8%, and in 2008 it was 60.4%.
