35. Bina is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Sagar Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Bina falls in Sagar district and Vindhya Pradesh region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 1,72,524 voters in the seat, which includes 91,125 male voters, and 81,394 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Bina recorded a voter turnout of 73.07%. In 2013 the turnout was 71.46%, and in 2008 it was 68.36%.
In 2013, Mahesh Rai of BJP won the seat by a margin of 18,769 votes (15.7%). Mahesh Rai secured 51.32% of the total votes polled.
