28. Bamori is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Guna Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Bamori falls in Guna district and Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 1,95,347 voters in the seat, which includes 1,02,378 male voters, and 92,967 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Bamori recorded a voter turnout of 79.27%. In 2013 the turnout was 77.55%, and in 2008 it was 70.39%.
In 2013, Mahendra Singh Sisodia (Sanju Bhaiya) of INC won the seat by a margin of 18,561 votes (13.13%). Mahendra Singh Sisodia (Sanju Bhaiya) secured 50.8% of the total votes polled.
BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 4,778 votes (5.14%), registering 30.96% of the total votes polled.
