14. Aizawl East-II is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Mizoram and is part of Mizoram Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Aizawl East-II falls in Aizawl district and Aizwal region of Mizoram. It is categorised as a urban seat.
There are a total of 17,681 voters in the seat, which includes 8,132 male voters, and 9,549 female voters. In the 2018 Mizoram elections, Aizawl East-II recorded a voter turnout of 75.93%. In 2013 the turnout was 79.71%, and in 2008 it was 77.3%.
In 2013, Lalsawta of INC won the seat by a margin of 177 votes (1.36%). Lalsawta secured 38.31% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 1,349 votes (11.75%), registering 41.77% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, IND led in the Aizawl East-II Assembly segment of the Mizoram Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
