7. Adilabad is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Telangana and is part of Adilabad Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Adilabad falls in Adilabad district and North Telangana region of Telangana. It is categorised as a urban seat.
There are a total of 1,68,892 voters in the seat, which includes 84,934 male voters, and 83,913 female voters. In the 2018 Telangana elections, Adilabad recorded a voter turnout of 81.68%. In 2014 the turnout was 64.26%.
In 2014, Jogu Ramanna of TRS won the seat by a margin of 14,711 (10.25%). Jogu Ramanna secured 40.92% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, TRS led in the Adilabad Assembly segment of the Adilabad Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
