Young New Zealand batting sensation Rachin Ravindra continued his fine form with the bat and scored 42 runs against Sri Lanka to move to the top of the golden bat race in the ICC World Cup 2023. Ravindra has turned out to be a promising batter for New Zealand and with 565 runs in the tournament thus far, he has set his eyes on the golden bat too.
The southpaw has been scoring runs consistently for New Zealand as they are on the verge of becoming the fourth team to seal the semi-final spot.

Sri Lanka’s Dilshan Madushanka has moved to the top of the list with 21 wickets in his kitty. He pipped Adam Zampa who has claimed 20 wickets and but he still has to play at least two more matches in the tournament, which gives him an advantage to move back to the top. Left-arm South Africa pacer Marco Jansen is placed at the third spot with 17 scalps under his kitty, while star India pacer Mohammed Shami is at fourth with 16 wickets in just 4 matches. New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner has also claimed 16 wickets and placed at fifth position.
