The Meta-owned instant messaging app WhatsApp is reportedly working on a feature to search messages by date. This feature allows users to search for messages by their specific dates, offering a level of precision that makes navigating message history easier.

Thanks to the latest WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.24.16 update, which is available on the Google Play Store, we discovered that WhatsApp is finally working on the same feature for the Android app,” WABetaInfo reported.
The screenshot shared in a report revealed that a new calendar button will be available within the search bar in your conversations in a future update of the app. This calendar button will definitely simplify the process of selecting a specific date for searching messages shared on that day.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp users can make voice and video calls with encryption offering them safety but now the messaging app is going one step further and lets you hide the IP addresses while making calls through the platform. The feature is rolling out via a new update for both Android and iOS devices this week.
