The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published the date for the SSC JHT 2023 Paper 2. The Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Junior Translator (JT), and Senior Hindi Translator (SHT) exam 2023 Paper 2 will be held on December 31 in accordance with the schedule.
In a previous statement, the commission informed that the SSC JHT Paper 1 will be held online on October 16. Admit cards for Papers 1 and 2 may be downloaded by eligible applicants at the official website, ssc.nic.in.
The official announcement states, “The Commission has decided to conduct the Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi Translator Examination, 2023 (Paper) on 31st December, 2023.”
The registration period for the SSC JHT Exam 2023 ran from August 22 to September 12.

Step 1: Navigate to the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in.
Step 2: Select the link for the SSC JHT Admit Card 2023 on the website.
Step 3: After entering your login information, a new window will open.
Step 4: The screen will show your SSC JHT 2023 admit card.
Step 5: Download the SSC JHT Admit Card 2023 and print it out for future records.
A total of 307 JHT positions in various Central government agencies are being filled by this SSC recruitment. Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator, and Hindi Pradhyapak are among the positions being filled.
Candidates for the SSC JHT 2023 were expected to hold a master’s degree in either Hindi or English, with one of the two subjects being a requirement. For those coming from different educational backgrounds, having a translation diploma or two years of prior work experience was necessary in order to be qualified for the position.
Candidates will be selected for paper 2 of the Translator exam based on their performance in paper 1. The SSC JHT paper 2 will evaluate applicants’ essay-writing and translation skills. This exam will last two hours and be of a descriptive nature. It will carry 200 marks. The final merit list for the SSC JHT will be generated based on applicants’ results in papers 1 and 2. Cutoffs for each category will be determined by the SSC. Shortlisted candidates will have their documents verified when they qualify for the cutoff in their category.
