The University of Delhi has issued a schedule for the second phase of DU PhD Admission 2023. The registration period for the same began on December 5 and will run until December 20, 2023. Candidates interested in applying for the PhD round may visit the DU website at admission.uod.ac.in and register themselves. Students seeking admission to PhD programmes at universities like as Delhi University (DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) must pass the DU PhD Admission Test.
According to the timetable, interviews by departments/centers will be held from December 22 to January 22, 2024. The DRC and BRS recommendations will be made until January 29, 2024, and the deadline for fee payment is January 31, 2024.
All qualifying applicants who failed to apply for Phase 1 (including those who passed the M.Phil. Entrance Exam and those who passed the Ph.D. Entrance Exam 2023–24) may now apply for Phase 2. Candidates who enrolled in Phase I but want to revise their proposal are allowed to do so in Phase 2.
DU PhD Admission 2023 Phase 2: How to apply
Candidates may follow the steps listed below to apply for the DU PhD admission round.
Step 1: Go to the DU Ph.D official website at phd2023.uod.ac.in.
Step 2: Enter your registration information and choose the “Login” option
Step 3: After completing the registration process, complete the application form.
Step 4: Click “Submit” after paying the DU Ph.D Admission application fees.
Step 5: Download the DU PhD Admission application form and print a copy for future records.
DU PhD Admission 2023 Phase 2: Registration Fee
SC, ST, and PwBD applicants must pay registration costs of Rs. 300, while all other candidates (Unreserved, OBC(NCL), EWS, etc.) must pay registration fees of Rs. 750 per course. Candidates can get further information on the official website of DU admissions.
The NTA PhD Phase 1 admission exam was administered in the Computer Based Test (CBT) method on October 26, 27, 30, and 31. Only 35,896 of the 50,971 applicants who enrolled for the exam actually took it.
Candidates for the PhD Programme are admitted based on their eligibility for certain specialisations and must also meet all other requirements outlined in the University of Delhi’s relevant Ordinances.
