The Bar Council of India (BCI) has released the schedule for the 19th qualifying test for Indian nationals with a degree in law from a foreign university. The BCI 19th qualifying examinations will be held between December 18 and December 23. The test will be held at the Bar Council of India, which is located at 21, Rouse Avenue, Institutional Area, New Delhi – 110002. Six physical papers, lasting three hours each, totaling 100 marks will be carried out over the course of six days.
There will be six papers in all, as per the BCI test schedule. Exams are slated to take place from 11 am to 2 pm.
The official notification states that for those who have previously participated in the test and have one or two or more topic papers to pass, this examination provides an opportunity for re-examination. These candidates will only be needed to appear in those specific subject papers. Candidates must bring their admit cards, photo identity proof (passport/Aadhar), original mark sheets/degree certificates, and other documents to the examination venue.

Every subject paper is worth a total of 100 marks and takes 3 hours to complete. For the following papers, bare acts and books, including question-answer guides, notes, and others, are permitted within the test hall:

–– Contract law and negotiable instruments act
–– Company law
For the next three papers, only individual bare acts (no digests) with no more than a few short annotations are permitted. There should be no markings, chits, or anything else on the bare acts.

–– Criminal procedure code
–– The Indian legal profession and code of ethics
