Presenting, Varun Dhawan - The New Subway Surfer In Town

Varun Dhawan is quite busy with several projects lined up, but he surely enjoys the time he invests in shooting. Recently, Varun shared a glimpse of himself before getting engrossed in his work, and he indeed seems to be having a fun time. What’s more interesting is his unique mode of travel. In a clip posted on Instagram Stories, Varun could be seen surfing to work. The caption read, “On the way to…(Camera Emoji).” The actor was seen in a blue shirt and white cap. He aptly matched the day vibe with a tinted pair of glasses as he sped across the clear sea. FYI: Varun is busy shooting for his next with director Atlee. The film, VD18, will be released next year.

Before this, Varun Dhawan shared pictures from his well-deserved break in Kochi with parents — David Dhawan and Karuna Dhawan. The actor surprised fans by posting multiple photos of tranquil moments with his family outdoors. Varun was seen enjoying lunch parents and close relatives. While on vacation, the actor wore a yellow-pink shirt with grey shorts, a green cap, and grey sandals.

This came after Varun Dhawan suffered a leg injury on the sets of the Atlee film. Varun shared the news with his fans in a now-deleted Instagram Stories, which included a photo of his swollen leg. He claimed that the injury occurred when his shin accidentally collided with an iron rod.

VD 18 is slated for release in May 2024. This is the first time Atlee and Varun Dhawan are working together. It is going to be Atlee’s second Hindi film after Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster Jawan. Varun was most recently seen opposite Janhvi Kapoor in Nitesh Tiwari’s love drama Bawaal which is streaming on Prime Video.

Varun is also working on Raj and DK’s Citadel India alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu. It is an adaptation of the American action spy thriller series starring Priyanka Chopra.

According to reports, Varun Dhawan is also working on the remake of the South Indian film Theri, which stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Sanya Malhotra, Rajpal Yadav, Jackie Shroff, and Sheeba Chaddha.
