Malaika Arora Shares A Cryptic Post Amid Arbaaz Khan's 2nd Marriage: 'I Woke Up...'
Malaika Arora talks about being grateful in her new Instagram Story which comes amid her ex-husband Arbaaz Khan's second marriage.

Malaika Arora on Thursday shared a cryptic post about being grateful on her Instagram Story. Malaika’s post comes days after her ex-husband Arbaaz Khan got married to celebrity makeup artist Sshura Khan. Arbaaz and Sshura tied the knot in an intimate ceremony, surrounded by family and close friends on Sunday, 24 December.

Reposting a message from a handle named 4amthoughts.official, Malaika shared, “I woke up. I have clothes to wear. I have running water. I have food to eat. I am thankful.”

Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan had tied the knot in 1998. Their shocking separation announcement came in March 2016 and the duo was officially divorced in May 2017. The couple however continues to co-parent their son, Arhaan Khan, who was also present at Arbaaz’s second wedding.

In an exclusive interaction with News18 Showsha, Arbaaz’s father Salim Khan spoke about the wedding and said that he was happy for his son. “They decided to get married. I don’t think it is a crime. I am happy for him and have given my blessings to the bride and the groom,” he said.

While Arbaaz has moved on in his life, Malaika, too, is dating actor Arjun Kapoor. Arjun recently got candid about his relationship with Malaika Arora on Koffee With Karan Season 8. Host Karan Johar asked Arjun about whether he and Malaika had any plans to take their relationship to the next level anytime soon.

“I think at this point, and as much as I love coming on your show and being as honest and sincere about it, I think this is the part of my life that right now I want to take it as it comes,” Arjun told Karan. “I think it’s unfair to be sitting here without her and talking about the future. I think that would be the most respectful thing. Once we reach that stage, we will come and talk about it together. I’m very very happy where I am and I think we make no bones about the fact that we survived through whatever we’ve had to be in this comfortable happy space.”
