Inside Kajol's Diwali Celebrations With Ajay Devgn, Tanuja, Yug And Others

The glittering lights of Diwali illuminated B-town this year. The festive season was not just an occasion for grand parties and elaborate ceremonies; it became an extra special affair for many celebrities. Amid the glitz and glamour, Kajol, along with her family and dearest friends, marked the occasion with intimate celebrations. Post the celebrations, she treated her Instagram family with some glimpses of her celebrations and wished them on the auspicious occasion.

Kajol enjoyed the festive occasion in a stunning bright red saree adorned with lotus motifs. She shared a picture with Ajay Devgn, where he complemented her look in a green floral-printed kurta paired with white trousers. The post also featured snapshots of Kajol alongside her son, Yug. Yug was seen twinning with his father in the same kurta. Kajol’s post also featured mother, Tanuja, and mother-in-law, Veena Devgan. “Some nights just never go in order and those are the best days ever .. happy happy Diwali to every one out there.. it really is about laughing talking and dancing the night away,” she wrote.

Throughout the year, Kajol has showcased her versatility and talent in various projects. Her remarkable performances included a role in the Netflix anthology Lust Stories 2, where she portrayed the character of a domestic abuse survivor. Not stopping there, Kajol ventured into the digital realm with her web series debut in The Trial, donning the role of a lawyer. This series is available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

Discussing the delicate balance between her personal and professional life, Kajol in a previous interview with Film Companion said that Ajay Devgn doesn’t watch much of her work, but that doesn’t bother her. She expressed, “I don’t seek validation in that respect from him. We’re both very secure as people. So, we have never gone to each other and said, ‘Oh you know, do this scene this way’. We never do that. We just never talk about it. We have so much else to talk about, ‘Do bachche hain, ghar hai, do kutte hain, chaar gaadi hain (We have two children, a house, two dogs and four cars)’ So, so much comes in between, that we do not get time to talk about the movies or acting.”

Kajol’s upcoming film schedule is yet to be revealed. This has kept fans eagerly waiting for news about her future projects.
