Hrithik Roshan is more than just a star and an actor who has aced both mainstream and intricate roles in films like Agneepath, Super 24, War to name a few. He is also quite a treat when it comes to his personal life. The actor might have gone separate ways with his wife Sussanne Khan but that hasn’t stopped him from sharing an amicable bond with her family, especially her brother Zayed Khan. And a recent video is the ultimate proof of that, where the Vikram Vedha actor turned referee for a swimming race between Zayed Khan and his son.
On Thursday, Zayed Khan took to his Instagram handle and dropped a clip featuring him and his son Zidaan Khan indulging in a swimming race at a scenic location. The video starts with Zayed and Zidaan giving their best for the lap. The camera pans at Hrithik Roshan in a white T-shirt saying ‘Oh My God’. He declared Zayed the winner by 1 mm.
The Main Hoon Na actor wrote the caption, “EPIC!! Race between my Son Zidaan and myself . Still don’t know who won . Aariz was the commentator and my brother Hrithik the judge . Hope to have more healthy competitions like these . Proud of you Zizu , cause your Dad is a quite the swimmer himself . #family #racing #holidays #fathersonbond @zidaan.z.khan @hrithikroshan . Thanks brother for a lovely weekend ❤️.”
Zayed Khan rose to overnight stardom after starring in the 2004 film Main Hoon Na. His boyish charm, long hair, and chiselled physique in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer were a hit among the masses, especially his female fans. Post the success of Main Hoon Na, he continued to feature in a string of Bollywood films. But, none of his films created much of an impact in the theatres. His failure to strike a chord with the audience made him move away from the limelight. Now the 42-year-old is ready to make a comeback into the film industry with an untitled film alongside his father Sanjay Khan.
On the other hand, Hrithik debuted in the spy universe in 2019 with War. He played the role of Kabir and even got a nod in Pathaan, released earlier this year.
Salman Khan’s latest action film, Tiger 3, released on Sunday, includes two standout appearances—one by Shah Rukh Khan and the other by Hrithik Roshan. The third installment of the highly successful Tiger franchise also features Katrina Kaif and casts Emran Hashmi as the antagonist. Tiger 3 is part of Yash Raj Films’ spy universe, which includes Hrithik’s War and Shah Rukh’s Pathaan. Both Shah Rukh and Hrithik reprise their roles as spy agents Pathaan and Kabir in Tiger 3. Hrithik’s guest appearance has garnered praise, particularly for setting the stage for War 2. The upcoming film in the spy universe will feature a full-blown face-off between Hrithik and Jr NTR.
