Fukrey 3 Beats Kangana Ranaut's Chandramukhi 2, Earns Rs 16.32 Crore In 2 Days
Fukrey 3 has outperformed Kangana Ranaut's Chandramukhi 2 and Vivek Agnihotri's The Vaccine War at the box office.

Fukrey 3 Box Office Collection: Richa Chadha and Pulkit Samrat starrer Fukrey 3 finally hit theatres this week and has been receiving a decent response from the audience as of now. As reported by the industry tracker Sacnilk, early estimates suggest the Fukrey 3 earned Rs 7.5 crore on its day two i.e. on Friday, September 29. The film previously earned Rs 8.82 crore on its opening day. With this, Fukrey 3’s total collection now stands at Rs 16.32 crore.

This means that Fukrey 3 has also outperformed Kangana Ranaut’s Chandramukhi 2 and Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War, both of which were released on the same day. Reportedly, Chandramukhi 2 earned Rs 4.50 crore nett in India on its second day for all languages. It previously collected Rs 8.25 crore on its first day. With this, Chandramukhi 2’s total collection now stands at Rs 12.75 crore.

On the other hand, The Vaccine War has only earned Rs 1.70 crore at the Indian box office in two days.

Fukrey 3 is written by Vipul Vig and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar for Excel Entertainment. It stars Richa Chadha, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh in key roles. Pankaj Tripathi has also joined the Fukrey franchise with this third part. The film was initially supposed to hit theatres on September 7 alongside Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. However, earlier this month makers postponed the movie and shifted the release to September 28.

News18 Showsha’s review of Fukrey 3 reads: “Eliminate Choocha from Fukrey Returns and there’s little going for the film. Varun Sharma as the fumbling-bumbling Choocha is once again on his toes and pretty much holding the picture together. He is invested with the responsibility of carrying the story forward. Richa Chadha, Pulkit Samrat and Manojt Singh also deliver a decent performance. Pankaj Tripathi as usual is excellent. His wit and comic timing are on point as he manages to make you giggle even when you find yourself disappointed by the plot.”
