Chahatt Khanna is eagerly anticipating the release of her upcoming film ‘Yaatris’ and is optimistic about its success at the box office. According to her, the film is a light-hearted comedy and rom-com, a genre she personally enjoys and believes the masses love to watch in theaters. The movie is scheduled for release on November 24, 2023, and features a talented ensemble cast, including Raghubir Yadav, Seema Pahwa, and Jamie Lever.
Chahatt expresses her excitement about the film, especially because it marks her return to the big screen after a significant gap. She is hopeful that ‘Yaatris’ will resonate with the audience and encourages people to go to theaters to enjoy the family entertainer.
“Yaatris is releasing this week and I am super excited about it because this film of mine is coming after a long gap and I am looking forward to watch it because it’s my favourite genre – light-hearted, comedy and rom-com genre.”
Talking about its box office prospects, Chahatt adds, “I am keeping my fingers crossed. I want ‘Yaatris’ to work at the box office and I really hope people go and watch the film in theatres and enjoy the family entertainer,” she adds.
Chahatt was last seen in the 2019 film ‘Prassthanam’ and she is making a comeback after a hiatus of four years. On her decision to do ‘Yaatris’, she said, “I said yes because any actor would have said yes. It’s a beautiful script and when it was narrated to me, I was like, ‘I should do it’. I love to watch such kind of genre. It’s my genre and rom-coms, feel-good, light-hearted films are what I love to watch. So, when I got the offer to be part of such a film, I couldn’t say no.”
On being asked if she missed the limelight all these years, Chahatt said, “I am always in the limelight. Yes, as an actor I missed the limelight very much. I missed working on set. The satisfaction I got doing this film I never got in any project. I don’t know how the film will come out but as a person I really enjoyed it.”
As the release date approaches, fans and moviegoers will have the chance to witness the collaborative efforts of Chahatt and her co-stars in ‘Yaatris,’ both on and off the screen. The film appears to be more than just a cinematic experience, aiming to deliver entertainment with a touch of transformative artistic collaboration.
