Ankita Lokhande and her husband Vicky Jain are undoubtedly amongst the most talked about Bigg Boss 17 contestants. Ever since the two entered Salman Khan’s controversial reality show, they are often seen indulging in ugly fights. Rinku Dhawan, who is the latest contestant to get evicted from Bigg Boss 17 house, spoke to us exclusively about the ongoing problems between Ankita and Vicky.
Rinku says that Vicky tends to dominate people with his overpowering personality and Ankita, too, is an opinionated woman, and therefore, the two end up getting into a war of words very often. “Vicky has a lot of ego. I am saying this because he told me the same. There are different equations when you are at home. But the platform you are at, it is important to present your personality and opinion. Ankita is a strong woman with a strong voice. Once I told the same to Bigg Boss also. Vicky is very overpowering. He wants to talk and tell others, ‘jo main bol raha hu sab sahi bol raha hu sab mere haan mein haan milao’. Ankita, as his wife in the show, is a disadvantage,” Rinku said.
“In this situation, Ankita would be like she wants to talk, she has her own opinion. She has her personality. These are their personalities. If you ask if entering the show as a couple is an advantage or not, I will say it is a disadvantage,” the actress added.
Ankita and Vicky often get nasty with each other during their fights. Recently, a video showing Vicky allegedly getting up to slap Ankita went viral on the internet. The video was from Bigg Boss 17 house. Now, Rinku has opened up about the viral video.
“I wasn’t present at the moment. I did not see it with my eyes. But the person who was present told me about it. Vicky and Abhishek were talking. Anurag, Arun and some other people were also there in the room. Arun also confirmed that Vicky did it. I heard about it but Ankita told me that while Vicky was only picking up his blanket, Abhishek had been saying that he tried to slap her. Obviously, she is not going to say Vicky did it. I don’t want to get into this. You know what happened. People who saw know what happened,” Rinku shared.
However, Rinku concluded by saying that the frequent mentions of divorce by Ankita or Vicky happen only in the heat of the moment. “In the course of situations, some things have been said. When you lose your cool, you end up saying a lot of things which you do not mean. It happens between husbands and wives. Neil and Aishwarya also used to fight in Bigg Boss’ house. Husbands and wives fight but that does not mean it is the end of their world.”
