Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja is currently basking in the success of The Greatest of All Time, directed by Venkat Prabhu. Yuvan has received accolades for the tracks curated by him for this film. In an interview with a portal, the GOAT composer revealed that he had changed the music for one of the tracks named Whistle Podu. The 45-year-old composer added that the song had received mixed reviews. After that, he changed its music, keeping in mind the audience’s feedback. Post the change in music, the song became a chartbuster and has garnered more than 74 million views and counting. Thalapathy Vijay and Yuvan have sung the track while Madhan Karky has penned the lyrics.
Currently, Yuvan will perform live on October 12, at the CODISSIA (Coimbatore District Small Industries Association) Trade Fair Complex. Before this concert, Yuvan and the concert’s organisers gave an interview to the press. The GOAT composer said, “We have planned a concert with fans’ favourite songs and new ventures. I hope this concert will be liked by the fans. Fans are very sensitive and it is only through their emotions that I can sing good songs in the show”. The concert’s organisers added that the tickets for the concert will be sold between Rs 500 to Rs 25,000. According to them, they plan to sell 20,000 tickets and also strengthen the security arrangements for the show.

Yuvan is the son of legendary composer Ilaiyaraaja and was exposed to music, right from a very young age. During his childhood, he learned the nuances of music by listening to songs composed by his father and other musicians such as SD Burman. Ilaiyaraaja is his mentor and guides him in all the professional matters. Yuvan made his debut as a composer with Aravindham only after getting the go-ahead from his father. He is not only a music composer but an amazing singer as well. During his career, he has sung songs in films such as Deepavali, April Maadhatil and Paiyaa to name just a few. He even bagged a Filmfare nomination for his powerful rendition of Iragai Pole from the Karthi starrer Naan Mahaan Alla.
