Actor and comedian Vir Das suffered injuries during a two-day dance shoot. In his latest Instagram Stories, he shared a picture of his bruises all over his knees. Despite his physical discomfort, Vir Das maintained his humorous spirit and captioned the image with a witty remark. The Delhi Belly actor said that he now knows why women in love songs usually end up saying “yes”.
The accompanying text read, “Spent the last two days dancing. Shooting a song. I think I get why the girl says yes in a love song all these years. It’s to avoid further cartilage damage.”
Vir Das already revealed on February 5 that he will be starring and co-directing a forthcoming Indian film. “Head back to India tomorrow. Very very happy to announce for the next three months I will NOT be touring. Get to sleep in the same bed. Have a routine. Plant some roots. Also…Co-direct and star in a movie,” he wrote on X.

Vir Das recounted another on-set incident two days earlier. Das, taking to X, shared that as he was going to the toilet, he discovered a strange circumstance in which a snake had fallen from the ceiling.
Das uploaded a video to his X and captioned it, saying, “At an eco-resort for the night because we’re shooting nearby. Needed to take a piss. Opened up the bathroom door, stood over the pot, junk out, and before I began…a snake fell from the ceiling directly onto the water tank near the flush handle. Yup. Never peeing again.”
The video begins with a shot of the snake and Vir Das pointing at it, as a person stands nearby. Das informs him in the video that the snake is stuck and inquires from the employees as to whether the snake is poisonous. It shows the snake attempting to get out of the toilet.
