Varun Dhawan and Rohit Sharma were not the only celebrities who attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's sangeet ceremony. It was a star-studded event was also graced by Salman Khan and others.

Varun Dhawan met Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s sangeet ceremony on Friday (July 5) night. A video has surfaced on social media in which the Bollywood actor can be seen hugging and interacting with Sharma. Varun was also joined by his wife, Natasha Dalal. Varun and Rohit’s meeting comes days after India’s T20 World Cup win.

Not just this, Varun Dhawan also took to his Instagram handle and shared a picture with Rohit Sharma. The actor called him “Mumbai Raja” and wrote, “@rohitsharma45 Humble, passionate, funny carrying the hopes of a billion with a smile. Was such a joy meeting the INDIAN captain last night and being able to spend little time with him and talk cricket.” Check it out here:

It was a star-studded event was also graced by Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Mouni Roy, Disha Patani, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani and Shehnaaz Gill among others.

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and wife Nita Ambani’s son Anant Ambani and his fiancee Radhika Merchant’s wedding festivities began with Mameru ceremony at the Ambani’s residence Antilia in Mumbai on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Anant and Radhika’s much-awaited, grand wedding wedding ceremony will take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai on July 13. Guests have started receiving the ‘Save The Date’ invitation, which is a traditional red and gold card, disclosing some details of the three-day function.

Reportedly, the wedding ceremonies will kick off on July 12. The first ceremony will be the auspicious Shubh Vivah or wedding function. The dress code is Indian traditional. July 13 will be the day of Shubh Aashirwad and the dress code is Indian formal. July 14 will be the Mangal Utsav or the wedding reception and the dress code is Indian chic. All these functions will be held at the Jio World Centre in BKC.
