Trailer Of Rakesh Varre's Upcoming Telugu Film Jithender Reddy Out

Aditya Music has unveiled the trailer of the director Virinchi Varma’s upcoming Telugu film Jithender Reddy (History Needs To Be Told) on May 2. The trailer shows a boy expressing his career aspirations to his father about becoming a lawyer, cop and doctor. He wishes to help the society in the best possible manner.

The trailer then cuts to the 90s where he is a police officer (Rakesh Varre) and goes on a rampage to physically harm the members of a certain political ideology. Proclaiming “Let’s live like Hindus and be proud of our Hindu identity", he is seen fighting the Naxalites.

Social media users appreciated the trailer and applauded the glimpses of the action sequences, background music, etc. Besides Rakesh, Jithender Reddy stars Vaishali Raj, Rama Rao Jadhav, Rhea Suman and others in key roles. This film was all set for a theatrical release on May 3 but now it has been postponed to May 10.

The special glimpse unveiling ceremony took place some time back and was attended by the whole cast and crew of the upcoming release. At the event, the makers talked about the movie and what the viewers should expect.

The producer of the film Muduganti Ravinder Reddy said, “Everyone needs to know about history. One such history to know is the life of Jitender Reddy." He added that he was elated to know that Virinchi Varma was going to direct the film. Complimenting the male lead of the film, he said that Rakesh “lived the role of Jithender Reddy with the movie". He ended by expressing hope for Jithender Reddy’s successful release.

Actor Rakesh said on the occasion that the makers organised this event to gather support for the release. He appreciated the efforts put in by the producer to bring to life the story of his elder brother Jithender Reddy. He stated, “I hope that the audience will like this movie and it will be a success."

Moreover, the director, Virinchi Varma revealed that when he read the story, he was compelled to direct a character like Jithender Reddy. He visited politician Jithender Reddy’s village to know more about his life and personality, meeting his friends and others to perfect the story.
