As the star turns 41, actor Sidharth Malhotra took up the opportunity to extend his warm wishes to Katrina. On his Instagram Stories, Sidharth shared a throwback picture from their Baar Baar Dekho promotion days and wrote, “Happy birthday Kat! Wish you the best year ahead! Big love and hug.” The photo captures the actors giving a goofy pose for the camera.
Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif have worked together in Nitya Mehra’s 2016 film Baar Baar Dekho. While the film did average business at the box office, the lead couple’s fresh chemistry struck chords with the audience. It is worth mentioning that Sidharth and Katrina aren’t just co-stars but also share a great friendship and camaraderie off-screen. Even during the promotion of their film, the duo didn’t shy away from pulling off hilarious pranks together.
Meanwhile, others including Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ananya Panday have also sent heartwarming wishes for Katrina’s 41st birthday. But the most special wish came from her husband Vicky Kaushal. The actor was last seen in the Sagar Ambre-Pushkar Ojha-directed Yodha. Backed by Karan Johar, the film also features actresses Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna. The action film hit theatres in March 2024, opening to mixed reactions. Yodha is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
