People do countless bizarre things for their partners and our very own favorite celebrities are not exempt from being those people. One such A-lister is currently one of the biggest actors in our country, known to be a thief for his girlfriends, as revealed by his mother and sister.
That actor is none other than the Animal star Ranbir Kapoor. In a recent interview, his sister and mother revealed how he used to steal their clothes and jewellery and gift it to his girlfriends. Ranbir Kapoor, along with his mother Neetu Kapoor and sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, made an appearance in the first episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show.
Ranbir’s sister Riddhima revealed that he stole her tops and dresses to gift them to his then-girlfriends. She said, “He used to bring his girlfriend. I looked at the dress she was wearing. It would have been my top.” Hilariously, the actor agreed and even confessed that he even stole his mom’s jewellery to gift his girlfriends.
Neetu Kapoor recalled her reaction to seeing one of his exes wearing her jewellery. She said, “Arre woh kya pehni hai? Ye toh mera hai (What is she wearing? This is mine).” Jokingly, Ranbir added that at that time he believed his then-partner would become the family’s daughter-in-law eventually, so giving his mother’s jewellery would not be a big deal.
Ranbir Kapoor got married to actress Alia Bhatt on April 14, 2022. They have a daughter named Raha Kapoor, who was born in November 2022.
The actor was last seen in the superhit Animal, in the role of Ranvijay Singh. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film became one of the biggest blockbusters at the box office upon its release. The cast included Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Tripti Dimri.
