Actor-politician Thalapathy Vijay is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film GOAT (The Greatest of All Time), directed by Venkat Prabhu. Recently, Vijay was seen celebrating the success of his 20-year-old film Ghilli, which was re-released in theatres. His pictures from the event are going viral on the internet. In the pictures, his fans spotted wounds on his knuckles. Fans are worried about his injury. No official reports have been made yet regarding this. During the Lok Sabha election, he was spotted with injuries on his hand. It is reported that he got injured while shooting for his upcoming movie GOAT in Russia. Despite the injuries, Vijay is still filming for GOAT, and the shoot is expected to wrap up in the next few weeks. Currently, a small part featuring Vijay is being shot in Chennai.

As soon as news about his injury surfaced, fans showered the actor with messages. A Twitter user stated, “Thalapathy Vijay got hurt on his fingers and face. We need answers. During the success bash of Ghilli, Thalapathy Vijay reunited with former director Dharani. Vijay appeared clean-shaven as they posed for a photo together for the first time in 20 years, since the movie’s release. Thalapathy Vijay expressed his respect for the veteran director by presenting him with a shawl.

In the latest Tamil science fiction action flick titled The Greatest Of All Time, superstar Vijay will be seen in two different roles. The high-energy chase and action scenes shot in Russia with Thalapathy Vijay have been temporarily halted. Directed and co-written by Venkat Prabhu, the movie features a stellar supporting cast including Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mic Mohan, Jayaram, Sneha, and Yogi Babu. Produced by AGS Entertainment under Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Suresh, and Kalpathi S Ganesh, the film is scheduled to release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi theatres on September 5, 2024.
