Sharvari Wagh, who has been creating waves with her performances, will soon share the screen with John Abraham in Vedaa. The makers have recently shared a trailer and it is getting an overwhelming response from every corner. Sunny Kaushal also praised his rumoured girlfriend Sharvari Wagh’s performance in the trailer and called it epic.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Sunny Kaushal shared the trailer and wrote, “Lesss gooo Sharu!! This is going to be epic.” The film also stars Abhishek Bannerjee, Tamannaah Bhatia and Mouni Roy. The film story revolves around a young girl who fights against oppression. She wants social justice against tyrants who oppressed the downtrodden communities based on caste and untouchability. The action-thriller is directed by Nikkhil Advani.

Sharing the trailer, Sharvari took to her Instagram handle and wrote, “Justice. Equality. Liberty. A battle that Abhimanyu and Vedaa will fight to the end. #Vedaa trailer out now! In cinemas this Independence Day in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu! .”
The makers of Vedaa recently revealed that they are still awaiting clearance from the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC). On Thursday, the director of the film, Nikkhil Advani, took to his Instagram handle to share the same and urged the authorities to resolve this “unusual delay”. “We, the producers of Vedaa feel compelled to share with our fans and supporters that despite our best efforts, we are still to secure a clearance and certification from the CBFC of India,” the statement read.
Vedaa is scheduled to hit theatres on August 15, 2024. This means that it will clash at the box office with Rajkummar Rao and Tamannaah Bhatia’s Stree 2.
While, Sunny Kaushal will be next seen in Phir Aaye Hasseen Dillruba. The film is releasing on August 9 on Netflix. It also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey. It is sequel of Hasseen Dilruba.
