Actor Rajkumar Rao is currently enjoying the grand success of his recently released horror comedy Stree 2. Helmed by Amar Kaushik, it also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana and Pankaj Tripathi in the lead roles. The film was released on Independence Day 2024, has not only exceeded expectations but also emerged as the biggest opener of the year. In just two days of its release, Stree 2 has entered the Rs 100 crore club at the domestic box office.
Amid the phenomenal success, actor Rajkumar Rao during a recent promotional event of Stree 2 shared some unknown facts about his co-actress Shraddha Kapoor. During a conversation with The Lallantop, when asked about what he observed about the Aashiqui 2 actress, RajKummar said, “One thing I observed about her (Shraddha), which nobody knows, is that she always carries a tissue or something similar because she has an issue with her tear glands and her eyes often water.”
On Friday, the makers of Stree 2 hosted a success bash where several celebs, including Rajkummar with his wife Patralekhaa, Shraddha, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Abhishek Banerjee, director Amar Kaushik, Producer Dinesh Vijan among others marked their presence.
The film received positive responses from fans and critics alike. It also has special cameos by Varun Dhawan as Bhediya, Tamannaah Bhatia and Akshay Kumar.
As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film minted Rs 35.30 crore on Friday which took the film’s total India collection to Rs 100.10 crore (including Paid Previews).

The film’s success is even more remarkable considering that it faced a big Bollywood clash with Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor and Ammy Virk’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa.
RajKummar will next be seen in the Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video opposite Triptii Dimri. Helmed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film is slated to hit the theatres on October 11. Apart from that, he also has director duo Raj and DK’s web series Guns and Gulaabs Season 2.
Shraddha, on the other hand, has still not announced her next project.
