Shooting Of Pawan Kalyan's Gangster Drama OG Resumes After A Gap
Yesterday, OG makers took to Instagram and shared a couple of behind-the-scenes photographs.

The shooting for actor-politician Pawan Kalyan’s highly anticipated pan-India gangster drama, Ojas Gambheera, aka OG, resumed a couple of days ago. The day before yesterday, OG makers took to Instagram, sharing a couple of behind-the-scenes photographs from the ongoing schedule.

“The boys are all in,” read the caption that accompanied the BTS stills in the Instagram post. The photographs showcase the film’s director Sujeeth, cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, and music composer Thaman fully immersed in a deep discussion on OG’s set.

Currently, the filming is underway in Hyderabad, where the crew is shooting an intense action sequence that is key to the film’s plot. The team, led by director Sujeeth, is working hard to meet their production schedule, which is expected to run through the end of October. Pawan Kalyan is set to rejoin the crew shortly to film his high-octane action scenes, adding to the excitement surrounding the project.

OG also features Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi and Kollywood actress Priyanka Mohan in lead roles. The film is being produced on a huge scale by DVV Danayya under his DVV Entertainment banner. The makers are yet to lock the film’s release date.

According to reports, plans are in motion to introduce Akira Nandan, the son of Pawan Kalyan, in a cameo role in the upcoming film OG.

Director Sujeeth is said to have proposed this idea, and it’s expected that Akira will play a crucial part in the film. Though some say he might play the younger version of Pawan Kalyan in the movie, some reveal he is a special character.

Introducing Akira in OG not only allows him to showcase his talent but also helps build familiarity with audiences. At a time when Pawan Kalyan is distancing from films due to political commitments, although he has few releases lined up, it is better to bring his son into the line, isn’t it? With a ready-made set of fans already, it won’t be tough for Akira to cut through the line and make his mark felt.
