On Wednesday too, Mouni took to her Instagram handle and shared a series of pictures which are not setting fire online. In these latest clicks, the Showtime actress was seen flaunting her hot looks in an off-shoulder mini-white dress. She kept her tresses open, ditched accessories and opted for glam makeup. Soon after the pictures were shared, fans rushed to the comments section to shower love on their favourite actress. While one of the users called her “queen”, another added “uff teri adaa”. “Bahut sunday,” a third comment read. “You look stunning,” wrote another. Among others, Mouni’s BFF Disha Patani also called her “Lovee”.
Since Mouni often drops gorgeous pictures of herself online, earlier this year, the actress exclusively told News18 Showsha that she felt stuck in a rut as a glam face and is currently on the path to change the industry and the audience’s perception of her.
“If you ask me if I have been typecast, then yes, of course, I have. But I also have been very, very lucky with directors who had the vision to see me in different role and parts. Like Emraan Hashmi says, it may be a fair industry but I truly believe that it’s a very difficult industry,” Mouni told us.
Mouni Roy has come a long way ever since she made her television debut with Ekta Kapoor’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. She became a popular name after she starred in Naagin. Mouni made her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar’s Gold in 2018. In 2022, Mouni was seen in Ayan Mukerji’s magnum opus, Brahmastra. She was recently seen in a music video titled ‘Dotara’ along with Jubin Nautiyal.
Recently, Mouni was seen in the web series Showtime which also starred Emraan Hashmi, Mahima Makwana, Rajeev Khandelwal, Shriya Saran, Vishal Vashishtha, Neeraj Madhav, Vijay Raaz and Naseeruddin Shah in pivotal roles.
