Ajith Kumar is currently busy shooting for Vidaamuyarchi, helmed by Magizh Thirumeni. Now, the makers have dropped the posters of the principal cast of the film. They have unveiled a new poster featuring Regina Cassandra. Here, Regina is walking on a road with the silhouette of Ajith Kumar and Trisha in the background. A text overlay read, “Efforts never fail.” The actress also shared the poster on Instagram with a short yet heartfelt caption that read, “Quick stop by on the gram to let you all know that I am on a new journey called Vidaamuyarchi and giving all my efforts to this one lately! Super thrilled & excited for you all to witness this and I am grateful to have a wonderful team to support me through it!”
Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, Vidaamuyarchi is a road thriller, shot in places including Azerbaijan. The story is reportedly inspired by the 1997 film, Breakdown. The film marks the first collaboration between Regina Cassandra and Ajith Kumar. Vidaamuyarchi is expected to hit the theatres in October this year.
Besides Vidaamuyarchi, Ajith Kumar has Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly. Contrary to Magizh Thirumeni’s film, Good Bad Ugly has an outlandish and fun. While the makers are yet to reveal more updates about the cast and crew of the film, it has been widely reported that Ajith Kumar will be portraying the three different roles. It is slated to release in January next year.
With two exciting projects in the pipeline, Ajith Kumar promises entertainment-packed cinematic treats to fans. Meanwhile, speculations are rife that Ajith is also joining hands with Prashanth Neel for a project.
