Former actor Imran Khan solemnised his cousin Zayn Marie's wedding in Alibaug recently. Zaynon Tuesday took to Instagram to share new photos from her wedding festivities, which took place earlier this month. Zayn is the daughter of filmmaker Mansoor Khan, who is cousin to Aamir Khan and uncle to Imran Khan.
Zayn took to social media to share never-posted-before pictures from her dreamy wedding. The pictures shared on Instagram seems to be the second ceremony of her wedding which was held in accordance with Christian traditions. The adorable photographs reveal Zayn flanked by her beaming-with-joy parents. In one of the pictures, Imran is all smiles at the altar holding a mic in his hand.
Zayn captioned the post, "Mamma, Abbu and Poggy walking me down the aisle."
Earlier, Zayn shared another post dedicated to her Christian wedding. In a lengthy message, she extended her heartfelt gratitude to her beloved uncle Imran. She said that she reciprocated his wedding cake surprise to her by singing Simply The Best for him. She added about handingover some long-due handmade gifts. In the emotional note, she wrote, “I sobbed, he wept, everyone laugh-cried… there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!!! The most beautiful, personal day I could have asked for."
Zayn's wedding to long time partner Abhishek Saha was attended by Imran, Aamir, Ira andAamir's wife Kiran Rao earlier in February. Zayn made her debut as an actor last year with the Netflix original Mrs Serial Killer.
It was revealed at the beginning of the year that Imran is quitting showbiz. The same was announced by his friend Akshay Oberoi who also mentioned that he has all the makings of a director. Imran debuted with Aamir’s production venture, Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na in 2008. His last film outing was the 2015 film Katti Batti.
