The film Laggam created a massive buzz among the fans after the makers revealed the release date. Directed by Ramesh Cheppala, the film set in the backdrop of rural Telangana tells the story of a family who passes through various harsh situations in life. Every situation tests their bonding but the family tries to overcome every situation.
The songs and teaser released recently have received a good response from the audience. With all the post-production activities now completed, Laggam is all set to hit the theatres worldwide on October 18. It is produced by T Venu Gopal Reddy under the production of Subhishi Entertainments.
Talking about the film, the producer mentioned that the film contains a strong story, engaging narrative, melodious music and speaks about a family. Veteran actor Rajendra Prasad also stated that this is a family-oriented film and everyone can with it together.
Alongside Rajendra Prasad, the film will also feature Sai Ronak, Pragya Nagra, Rohini, Saptagiri, LB Sriram, Krishnudu, Raghu Babu, Racha Ravi, Kanakavva, Vadlamani Srinivas, Kaveri, Chammak Chandra, Chitram Seenu, Sandhya Gandham, T Suguna, Lakshman Meesala, Prabhavati, Kancherapalem Raju, Prabhas Srinu, Satya Eleswaram, Anjibabu, Radandi Sadanandam, Kireeti, Ravi Varma, Viva Reddy and others.
The storyline was penned by director Ramesh Cheppala himself while Ball Reddy handled the cinematography department. The editing has been done by Nageswarareddy Bonthala and the music has been composed by Charan Arjun.
Ramesh Cheppala’s 2023 film Bheemadevarapally Branchi was also highly praised by audiences and critics. It starred actors like Rajsekhar Aningi, Warangal Bhasha, Addanki Dayakar, Sai Prasanna Kondra and Thati Geetha. Bheemadevarapally Branchi was produced by Bathini Keerthi Latha Goud and Ch Raja Narendar under the banners of AB Cinemass and Nihal Productions.
The story of the film is about a man named Jampanna, who is a resident of Mallapur, Telangana. He suddenly received a lot of money deposited in his account. He thought that it was a gift from the government. His ideology changes after he faces a series of challenges in his life.
