Karthik Kumar clarified this in a video now and said that is not his voice. He shot the clip from inside a car and said, “That’s not my voice. Those are not my words. I don’t talk like that. I don’t have that vocabulary.” The clip is now going viral.
Earlier, Karthik Kumar’s ex-wife, Suchitra, claimed he was gay. Reacting to this, Karthik posted a video on Instagram confirming that he is not gay. “If I am a homosexual, no? I would not be ashamed to be homosexual. I would be very, very proud to be any kind of sexual in the gigantic and glorious spectrum of sexuality that exists out there. I would not be ashamed. I would be proud. I would attend a pride march in my city, which I will do anyway. People of all kinds of sexualities should attend the pride event and show their support. There is no shame anymore. There’s just pride. Be proud,” he said.
Karthik wrote, “Only love and support #pridemonth is June!” in the caption.
