Manoj Pahwa Reveals Aryan Khan's 18-20 Hour Work Ethic Like Shah Rukh Khan: Enjoyed Food from Mannat

Veteran actor Manoj Pahwa, known for his work alongside Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Josh’, is set to play a significant role in Aryan Khan’s upcoming web series. In an interview with Hindi Rush, Manoj, accompanied by his actor-filmmaker wife Seema Pahwa, shared his admiration for both Shah Rukh and Aryan, highlighting the father-son duo’s dedication and humility.

Manoj praised Aryan as a “young and hardworking boy” with no “starry airs,” noting that while the filming process for the series was lengthy, it was thoroughly enjoyable. However, he remained tight-lipped about specific details of the show, only revealing that it centers around the film industry.

When asked about the similarities between Shah Rukh and Aryan, Manoj observed that both share a relentless work ethic. He mentioned Shah Rukh’s reputation for working 18-20 hours a day when needed, and saw the same dedication in Aryan. “He is a workaholic, just like his father,” Manoj remarked. He also emphasized Shah Rukh’s warmth and respect for those around him, a quality he believes Aryan has inherited. “Shah Rukh is known as Khan Sahab because he truly embodies what it means to be King Khan. He treats everyone with love and respect, whether you’re working with him or simply standing in his presence.”

Manoj also spoke about Shah Rukh’s hospitality, recounting how the superstar always ensures his guests feel welcome. “If you visit his office, Shah Rukh will personally see you off at the gate. Aryan, I’ve noticed, is quite similar—he takes care of everyone on set.”

Additionally, Manoj shared a memorable moment from the set of Aryan’s directorial debut, when Shah Rukh visited and contributed his expertise. “Whenever Shah Rukh came on set, he always checked in on us, making sure we were well taken care of. During the filming of the climax, which was a grand production with multiple units, he even stepped in to direct a few shots.”

Manoj also fondly recalled the special meals he received on set, courtesy of Aryan. “I noticed Aryan’s food was coming from Mannat, and I jokingly said I wanted the same. From then on, Aryan made sure I got the same food, prepared by Shah Rukh’s personal chef. I would tell Seema, ‘I’m eating food from Shah Rukh’s house!’ It was a delightful experience—especially the Chicken Roll.”

Aryan’s series, which he has written, is produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, promising a project backed by the expertise and legacy of Bollywood’s leading star family.
