Whether this film be a crowd pleaser? Kriti Tulsiani from News18.com is inside the theater to find out.

Set in modern day Los Angeles, La La Land is a musical that aims to explore the joy and agony of pursuing your dreams. The film which features Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, John Legend and Rosemarie DeWitt in pivotal roles has been directed by Damien Chazelle.

The film delineates the story of an aspiring actress and a jazz musician who're struggling to make their ends meet. By the looks of it, the title - La La Land - is not just a nickname for the city of LA but also a symbolism for a mental state of being away from reality.

Considering the fact that the film has already received rave reviews at the Venice Film Festival, it'll be interesting to see how the Indian audience perceives it. One of the major reasons to watch out for the film is that it's the third film to feature Gosling and Stone as lovers, following the success of Crazy, Stupid, Love and Gangster Squad.

Whether the film be able to revitalise the genre of musicals in Hollywood? Whether Gosling and Stone hold their ground as one of the most-loved couples? Whether this film be a crowd pleaser? Kriti Tulsiani from News18.com is inside the theater to find out.
