Kareena-Sonam Starrer Veere Di Wedding Given 'A' Certificate by CBFC? Find Out

Of late, there have been a couple of reports doing the rounds that Veere Di Wedding has gotten an 'A' certificate from Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), owning to its use of swear words. But producer Rhea Kapoor has now cleared the air, saying they are yet to receive the censor certificate.

"So far we have had no problem with the Censor Board. I don't want to talk more about it because we still have not gotten the Censor (certificate) in our hands. Once we get it, we will issue a proper press release," Rhea was quoted as saying by IANS.

Rhea, also a celebrity stylist, said that her father Anil Kapoor accompanied her to the CBFC office to present the film, adding "one can be certain that if we can make a film for which my father can come along, then clearly, as women none of us should be ashamed of the film."

The film, co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania, is slated to release on June 1, 2018.
